Stage and Theatre backdrops at any Size
Our giant machines print on fabric rolls up to 3.2m wide. Large backdrops are seamed together in panels. Our large print machines mean that we can make our printed stage backdrops at any size for any venue. We have supplied backdrops to some of the worlds largest stage names, including Universal Music, and we ship our backdrops around the globe.
Full-colour stage backdrop printing
We print all our custom theatre backdrops in superior full colour. Using a full-colour CMYK dye-sublimation process enables us to produce stage backdrops with any design. Our backdrop printers allow us to print your design at photographic quality, which means we can print any full-colour designs onto our fabrics.
Blockout stage backdrop fabrics
We offer a blackout stage banner option. Our blackout fabric stops any unwanted light from passing through your backdrop. Our block out fabric has a black resin liner on the reverse of the banner which prevents any unwanted light from showing through the printed backcloth. A block out material means that any light from behind the banner wouldn't shine through the face.

What is a Stage Backdrop?
A Stage Backdrop is usually always made from a flame retardant fabric and serves to provide scenery or a backdrop image to the back of a stage. Typically they will be stitch seamed and have a row of eyelets or grommets across the top for hanging. Our Stage backdrops are digitally printed.
What Material is used for Backdrops?
A flame retardant fabric is always used. Fabric thicknesses are usually between 50gsm (Veil) up to 240gsm (Blockout fabric). Backdrop fabrics can be washed if necessary and rolled or folded for ease of storage.
How are Stage Backdrops Printed?
Our Backdrops are printed using digital dye-sublimation print machines, on rolls up to 5 metres wide. Dy-sublimation printing offers a wide colour gamut and deep, vibrant colours essential for stage presence.
How is Artwork prepared for Stage Backdrops?
Digital artwork will normally be designed using industry standard software such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Files are then sent to us as print-ready PDF's.
